Fuel gauge stuck on empty after filling up.
Binary means two of....I think you mean binding. The gauge in my car does not move off full until at least 50 miles have been travelled,so not a true indication of correct fuel level. If the float in the tank was as low as it could get in the OP car ,no surprise it was suck down .Once saw a petrol tanker driver years back ,throw a cigarette paper (rolled his own!) into the ground petrol discharge hole whilst unloading..............but he did not light the fag.........

Bear in mind these gauges are not precision things - just there to give you an indication of fuel level.Better to know what mpg the car does for your driving ,and work it in conjunction with what you see on the gauge........

Difficult to Engage First Gear / 2015 Citigo
You don't say how many miles the car has done .........In my forty odd years of driving ,I have yet to drive a fwd car ,where first gear doesn't baulk occasionally. I was never a fan of cable gear changes ,which is what we have on Citigo,as play and stretch comes in eventually. Video shown is all very well if you have full access ,another matter when the gear box is still in place in the car. Dealers will probably have more access to knowledge on whether cables need replacement,,,,,,no doubt someone will contradict me........

Citigo 2019 phone mount suitable for Garmin??
Should anyone else want a solution to this..........I purchased a 17mm ball joint mount on a flat plate. Then fitted this to the pnone holder. Garmin circular back plate will then push onto the ball. You can then use the garmin sat nav on the phone holder -in place on the dasn top..........

Citigo 2019 phone mount suitable for Garmin??
Hi - I have been trawling the forum here. I am looking for a suitable dash mount that will fit the existing phone holder cut out on the dash top - to fit a Garmin Drive sat nav unit. The existing Vag bracket I have will not accept the Garmin unit - back of unit is bulged out , and no access for usb lead to the back is possible. Does anyone know of a suitable source for a bracket ,before I start to canibalise what I have. Not sure if the Brodit type fitting will do at a push,as this appears to be oblong down -instead of across...........

Best dashcam for Citigo?
I have both a front and a rear camera. Both 5v supply, plugged in to adapter/transformer plug in the cig lighter.Front camera fits round the rearview mirror on the windscreen, and is not noticeable from the driving seat.Rear camera fixed to tailgate panel with 3Mpad,good view out and can be played back on smart phone. Both have memory card ,constantly overwritten.Bought from auction site under £10, fitted myself .Cable tucked away none hanging.........does not record with ignition on ,however........

Air con query Citigo
The fuse carrier on the battery/engine compartment houses fuse for a/c blower and rad fan combined -position 2 (second from left). The air conn feed fuse is in the main fusebox, position 1 (first fuse ,top left). Low gas means less cooling effect . Fuses only blow for a reason.Suggest you speak to the garage concerned,as they have been paid for a job........

2019 citigo se part-x value
Your business, but why sell........the idea of buying new is to get your monies worth. No car (except Bugatti !) is an investment, but the only way to get some benefit is to drive it ,and sell before large repairs loom....... Your loss is someone else's gain.....

Playback from SD card......Swing Radio....
After some months of playing tracks as stored, the player has decided to only play certain tracks, and the same ones are getting repeated. This is obviously down to the format used to convert, but I am not savy enough. I have an idea this question may have been asked before.........Can anyone enlighten me??????????? Most are copies from CD'S ,converted to MP3 with freeware programme.

Citigo ..Horn swap.......
Thanks for the link. Most do a cheap fix,and wire a second horn in parallel. Not taking any chances with my two year old SE, sounds like a recipe for melting wiring or contacts to me. Going to make up some wiring, and use a 30amp relay to sound some cheap twin horns.......if I can get the wheel arch liner away....

Citigo ..Horn swap.......
i don't go around blowing it all the while ( before somebody comments on this), but the single tone horn on my Se is not good enough at motorway speeds. Truckers in left-hand drive semi's ,have moved over a couple of times as I was along side for a few seconds -don't fancy being a victim under the sideguards.... I know the horn is in a pig awkward place in front of the osf wheel (UK). Has anyone ever attempted a twin tone horn swap or similar??

Skoda Citigo - 1.00 Hilly country?
A lot depends on how much you like driving, with a manual. Some people enjoy working a car, others think its hard work if too many gear changes........ Citigo is short of breath at times, and needs a bit more driver planning, getting early gear changes in ,when faced with gradients. Change in technique may be required, if you expect the engine to pull you out of a labouring situation. Over 50 mpg around town, and just got over 63mpg on a motorway trip. All in the eye of the beholder.....

Bumper Scuff Plate.....Citigo
Already saw that one...a bit of an eyesore ,and doesn't cover the area that takes the bashing. Rubber mat will be kept in the boot,as and when......
