vRS wagon damp carpets

Featured Replies

Carpets in both rear footwell are damp..

Is there a most likely cause?

And an easy fix?

It could be seals, door cards, window strips or all 3. Here’s a recent topic about it all.

Great thread... Thanks mate..

Pound to a pinch of **** it'll be the priciest option and, therefore, the thing I try last.

Opened the nsr door the other day and there was a lot of water on the shut... Felt the carpet and it didn't feel damp then.

But it is now (we've hit some whopper puddles lately though)

@Evil - Well, I'd start by cleaning the door drains, which are invisible unless you open a door and stick your head under it from between the door and its frame. It may not be the right solution, but it is free.
