Reversing camera fault ?

Featured Replies

I had  genuine Skoda reversing camera fitted last year by an independent, which was correctly coded to the car via the VW system in Germany.

Whilst it hasn't had much use due to Covid, it has worked flawlessly until today. Now when I select reverse, the camera works fine, but then when I select drive the camera stays on in the infotainment screen.

In the top right corner of the screen is an X, which when pressed switches off the camera. Anybody else had this and if so, is there a fix ?

It is normal for the rear camera to remain active in drive till around 10 mph is achieved.

Thanks Kenny, I haven't noticed it doing that so I'll pay it some attention.
