Emission light coming on.

Featured Replies

Th Emissions light has lit up on my Skoda,  I have had it diagnosed, and it appears to be the petrol tank cap, apparently it has a pump which recirculates the petrol vapour as opposed to venting into the atmosphere.

According to the garage mechanic, it is a common fault on many German made cars, ie Soda, Audi, Mercedes, and VW.

Has anybody else had the same problem.

It is common and has been for years (decades) now with faulty caps since all vehicles got sealed caps so it applies to all manufacturers.

?

What is your actual model of Skoda?  A mod can maybe move your post.
