Here goes my first post.

I am having my Skoda Cherry popped on Wednesday 17th May 2006 when my new Skoda Superb 2.0TdiPD is delivered. Black Magic Paint and Ivory Leather.

We're then taking it straight down to the south of France for two weeks so hopefully no "out of the box" problems.:thumbdwn:

Can anyone tell me if the SatNav and Audio unit plays MP3's and if not, can it be upgraded to play them?:confused:

All I had was a symphony cd/radio in my classic and that didn't do mp3

I am sure it will be fine, just a note it you want to use the Sat nav in France you will need a Fench disk or a major roads of western europe to guide you there, your car will be delivered with just a UK disk. Enjoy the South of France - I have just got back from a week there with my Superb as it happens ( la mole near st tropes airport) - the weather was great. Enjoy the trip & £50 in tolls each way :thumbdwn: and if I were you I would stick below 85 the French Police are getting a bit hot on Speeders you will notice most French dont go above 80 (130kph)

You should be able to buy from any Skoda dealer. Lightcliffe Skoda in Halifax sell them

I've discovered that the sat-nav is made by Blaupunkt which is part of the Bosch Group. As it happens I work for Bosch (power tools) and so I will check out what upgrades are available, e.g TV/DVD/MP3 players etc.

It WILL be worth the wait ...honest.......only thing to remember is ...yes it does take up a whole parking space
