Engine stops during start with DSG gearbox

Featured Replies

I have a problem with the Skoda Octavia 3 Dsg, when starting the engine occasionally shuts down and I have to restart it manually.

Hello to our friends in beautiful Croatia.

This is obviously not normal behavour, but for us to assist or give you advice, we need a CANBUS scan done of your car.  Can you find somebody with a ODBEleven (pro) scanner (or possibly even VCDS) which will give fault codes and then post those codes on here.  Could be a gearbox problem, but probably most likely a fail(ing) sensor.

the authorized service performed the vds scan, there are no errors and the vehicle is under warranty

currently the service has lost connection with the škoda server due to telecommunication problems and now I am on hold..checking with the factory if there is a sw bug, the vehicle has 30000km
