Hello! 

 

I own a Skoda Fabia from 2010 with the module halogen headlights. 

 

As of recent both headlights have started to get condensation inside and takes a while to go away by having the lights on and temperature going up. 

 

Any solution to this problem? I've checked the seals on blinkers, parking light and headlight and they all seem to fit as they should.

About the only DIY thing that might help is to check that the boots over the headlight bulbs seal properly.

They've been checked and are seated properly, unfortunately. 

it's a common issue on many cars and considered acceptable by manufacturers.

 

best way to clear is long drive with headlights on and bulb covers off so the heat and air from the engine bay helps as well, but at this time of year it will happen again.

I have seen the same reply with the Dacia I have just purchased... Its a natural phenomenon (Da-do, da diddle, Phenomenon, Da diddle do).

 

Any replies like 'You Muppet", have been pre-expected...
