clutch hit the floor then came back

Featured Replies

hi all , haven't been on here for a while , as sold the Skoda but brought another one just over a yr ago and whilst the clutch wasn't brilliant it was ok, so all's been well until Wednesday night.

went out, parked up got back in about 30 mins later , pulled out of a car park and the clutch pedal just hit the floor. absolutely nothing,

i was in second gear trying to nurse the car home and just thought i would put my foot under the pedal and pull it forwards, clutch came back, better than its ever been and worked the 4miles home via roundabouts /main junctions

it going to my mates garage next week for him to look at but though i would ask before hand

anyone had this before ?

any pointers would be great

many thanks

I have similar issues to what you describe, so no solution for you i'm afraid, but I would really appreciate to know what you're told about this.
