Skoda electronics gone haywire!

Featured Replies

Hello,

Maybe you know what’s up? My Skoda’s electronics have gone haywire. The open door light pings intermittently such that I can’t lock the car with the fob when it’s done so. It also flashes the hazards occasionally, I assume due to the alarm system. Also, the windows have been playing up. I caught one the other day trying but failing to roll down of its own accord. What might be the cause and how can I go about fixing it, do you know? Thanks!

If you told us which Skoda model and age  you have it might help.

Your Skoda what?

Without giving the model, year, engine type etc you will only get well meaning but probably wide of the mark advice.

Sure, it’s the Skoda Roomster 2010 model

Sounds like the wiring loom between the a pillar and the door.

Pull back the rubber bellows cover and check for broken/ chafed wires.

Plenty posts in here and yeti section on how to repair.
