Hi guys I have a friend who has a Skoda Fabia Mk3 1.4 diesel DSG and they’ve had the warning above come up on their dash, I’ve done a bit of research and I’m aware that this a common fault with the microswitch and that there is a new microswitch you can fit as a mod or would it be a whole selector unit 

Hello, they used to replace the whole selector unit but the micro switch is the fix now. A lot cheaper and less time to do also.
