I bought a 2011 Superb auto last September, I've had a VW Golf for many years and kept it going upto 298,000 miles before selling it on.  I was surprised yesterday that my rear lower suspension had rusted through and broke and needed recovery to home.  I'm not going to look at it until the weather gets a bit better, as I won't be able to feel my fingers.  I have never had a breakage of this kind ever before on any car.  My Golf was susceptible to wearing axle bushes, but very reliable.  I chose the Skoda Superb due to it's size, but was surprised it doesn't have Bluetooth  to connect hands free with mobile phone.  I'm using my windscreen mount TomTom as my hands free. Are Skoda's prone to rust more than other makes?
