I am getting my Octavia 4x4 hatch next weekend, and I'd like to fit a 12v lighter socket in the boot, I know the estates have this and although my Golf didn't, it did have a connector on the loom behind the right side boot trim.

Is there a similiar easy way to hook up a 12v socket in the Octavia?

I've had both side trims out in the boot and there are no existing cables anywhere you could use. Probably the easiest way is to run it from the existing lighter socket...
