Have just bought a new superb excellence withj DX satnav.

Although the specification of the Disc supplied with it (Tele Atlas 2006 DX) includes Postcode searches (according to their online web site). The DX does not seem to allow that. Postcodes just dont come up in the menus

Any suggestions, opinions, help would be most welcome

On my 2003 DX unit, when you enter the town for the destinatinon, you can either enter the town (i.e. Lincoln) or the postcode (i.e. ln3 4) My disc wont allow you to go direct to the street. It will allow an input of LN3 4 and then asks you for the street and the group of house numbers the destination is in. Hope this helps

Yep as Fluffy said on my DX you go into town and then enter the post code there down to the second number i.e. HP2 7 then enter the street from there and most of the time the house number from there, if not the nearest intersection.

Mant thanks to all who replied. The manual does not make any reference to this but you are correct, and it works perfectly.
