Enyaq or Kodiaq

Featured Replies

I am very tempted to purchase an Enyaq 80 however with the current shortages getting a new one is a very long wait and year old ones are few and far between and going for nearly 50k

Its making me think I should just spend 35k on a petrol powered Kodiaq. Yes it will cost me more to run but is the Enyaq worth spending 15k more for?

Depends on what your objectives are...

From a purely financial point of view, probably not.

But from a future of the planet/carbon footprint point of view, absolutely yes. (With the caveat that I recognise one has to have the financial means to make such a choice.)

And you might find that driving an electric car is just a really nice experience! Only you can put a price on that!

Buying an EV depends very much on anyone's circumstances buying & owning and for how long or leasing and a business user or not and getting the tax breaks with BIK.

Also if an EV suits your use, if you have home charging, cheap charging tariff for electric or charging at work or if it will be using public chargers.

Public charger proper Rapid charging costs are getting to be about the same as running an ICE vehicle that can do 40 mpg plus.

Availability of new cars is not only with the Enyaq but also Kodiaq's.

Enyaq is just a much nice car to drive. But the delays are hitting all models. Having said that Enyaq deliveries now seem t be comign through again.
