I have just been told about a music download site called Legalsounds.com. Was talking to someone who said that they had used it for about six months without any problems(downloads, Credit card payments, etc).

Anybody here used the site?

It's a russian owned site according to the whois record.

Russian copyright laws are quite different from in the UK and I'd bet good money on their downloads not being legal here.

Like allofmp3.com you will probably get what you paid for but you may as well download the stuff illegally.

I agree with Dr Z someone is getting rich off illegal downloads. So cut out the middle man and just use bittorrent or something if that's how you wanna get your tunes.

Except that allofmp3 offer such good bitrate / format options it's worth paying a couple of quid for an album

I have never had a problem with music from bittorrent :confused: All my albums sound spot on whether played through my Sony NWA walkman with it's Phillips SBA290 speakers or from my pc to my hi-fi
