Anyone know where to get a clock spring for a 2010 Octavia VRS tdi CR170? 

Airbag and horn not working and diagnosed as the clock spring. However, everywhere says these are on back order, non in stock and a common fault. The car is due an MOT in a week, which it will fail, but we cannot get a part. 

For info, we are in Stockton on Tees. 

Take it apart and mend it, its a very easy job if you can solder.

 

If not there will be hundreds of pattern parts on Ebay.

I cant solder, but a friend can. Can you just purchase the Internal wiring then? 

 

The copy items on ebay don't seem to provide the OEM number of thr current clock spring. 

Nothing to purchase, simply do what people used to do before they defaulted to buying new or looking at Youtube tutorials, take it apart and you will see with your eyes what is wrong and how to repair it.
