Infotainment Screen Issues

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

Picked up my Fabia Colour Edition 72 plate earlier this week however last night, and again today I’ve had an issue with the main infotainment screen showing blank screen.

When I turn the car on, the screen looks backlit however it remains blank and none of the touch buttons can be pressed and the dash shows “audio unavailable”. I’ve tried holding down the on/off button which seems to reboot it but it comes back exactly the same. I’ve driven off both times and it’s eventually rebooted itself properly after a few minutes driving and works fine for the rest of the journey.

Anyone else having this issue? Or know a fix?

I’ll get some pictures the next time it happens incase a trip to the dealer is needed.

Same here. 1 week old Fabia.  3 times all stuck - no radio, no parking camera and touchscreen not working  and display "Component protection active" and "updating" loop... I tried radiobutton 10sec boot - no response. After car ignition off and 2 minutes waiting and system works fine again.

Yep, exactly as you describe! Only picked mine up on Monday and it’s happened enough times to be a real inconvenience.

I’ve spoken with the dealer today, they said an update has been/will be issued and they’re booking in from Mid Oct to update cars. Got mine booked and hopefully this solves the issues we seem to be having. Might be worth taking some pics & videos like I have and send it across to the dealership.
