Heater hoses!

Featured Replies

2015 Skoda scout 2ltr 4x4

issue is that after heater matrix replacement, started car and one of the heater hoses in the engine bay popped off. Can’t seem to get it to lock onto the pipe now. Anyone know the part numbers for these hoses/connectors see below photos

Annoying. As you might guess, the retaining clip is not listed as a separate part.

You'd have to try a second hand part even then you would want to make sure it is present!! You might find some other hoses use the same retention clip.

There are 2x hoses.  I can't quite read the last 3 digits and any letter of the part code in your photo.

One is close to £40 the other around £20....

Possible part numbers depend on emissions option codes for EU4, EU5 EU6,

Yes search on you tube has a brilliant video of it being done. Really easy to change it

If you Google "Water Hose Pipe Clip Retaining Flange Radiator Fits VW Audi" you'll find lots of options. I got some quite cheaply from my local Skoda dealer complete with replacement sealing O ring (recommended!) .

As well as easy to loose on removal in time they can be prone to rusting through.

Yes I managed to buy the plastic hose connection for £6 and Nick the clip

off it. That way I knew I had the right size as I though the rad connections were slightly bigger
