Mounting a Skoda Superb seat in a simulator rig

Featured Replies

I have a front passenger seat from a Skoda Superb 2020 that I plan to mount in my car simulator rig.

It would be a nice bonus if I was able to get the electric seat adjustments to work as well.

- Is this even possible without the control unit in the car?

- If so - Is it possible to find/buy a connection diagram online?

- I can see that the motors are 12V and if I know the pins for power and ground I was hoping I could get this to work.

Any thoughts on this? All inputs are appreciated.

I have powered other VAG electric seats simply by adding power to the +ve terminal (plus earth)

not sure a Superb seat would be my choice though, comfortable yes but not overly supportive side bolsters.

Thank you,

Then I just need to find out which pin that is :)

The rig does not have motion so not sure if side bolsters are needed.

It’ll be perfect then.

Can’t 100% remember what colour the wire was but it was the thickest wire of them all.
