2020 Kamiq SE Sway infotainment system

Featured Replies

Good evening all,

I am looking for a bit of guidance regarding this as it’s my first ever Škoda and I’ve never experienced anything like this in my life with a car. The infotainment system is possessed, it doesn’t turn on and I need to press the spanner button above and it will eventually tell me I’m not connected and then give me the use of my infotainment system.

Then the thing doesn’t turn off when I turn off the ignition, open and then close the door so I’m worried that it will drain the battery. I got this as a reliable little car to take my son to his hospital appointments but I feel like it’s already going to be a burden before we even begin. I’ll get the software version when I finish work but is there anything else you’d suggest I can do ?

Does your dash light up still after locking the door, and do you interior lights work correctly?

For the radio to do this, it is not getting canbus message that your car ignition is on/off.

The dash lights all go when I’ve locked the door, interior lights at the front work alright but I’ve not tried the back.

I have tried the reboot stuff and things by holding the power for 30 seconds but it doesn’t respond whatsoever even when I’ve managed to get the menu up. I had tuned it into the radio and had turned it all off and I could hear it blaring away for about 2 or 3 minutes, hopped into the car and pressed that spanner and an information policy notice came up and then it just shows the clock and is completely unresponsive unless I swipe it to another clock on the screen. That is all is does.

It seems you may have 2x updates that I can see right now...

So you have MEN3_EU_SK370_P0113P currently installed, available is MEN3_EU_SK370_P2131P

Taken from file main.mnf
    "Release": "MEN3_EU_SK370_P2131P",
    "MUVersion": "0741",
    "SupportedTrains":
        "MEN3_EU_SK370_P0113P",
        "MEN3_EU_SK370_P2131P"

You then have MEN3_EU_SK370_P2135P to load AFTER MEN3_EU_SK370_P2131P

 Thank you very much for this and the detailed instructions, I’ll make contact with my local dealer.
