  1. I have changed batteries on two keys now on my 2018 2l with no problems. CR205.
  2. Having heard of the horrors stories about these bags bursting, I replaced my header tank with a new one, with no bag. I have paid for a 2 year warranty, recovery, 2 services and MOTs. Could they refuse to honour this because I changed the header tank.
  3. The tfc announcments arn't as comprehensive, only local radio stations. (or not so local) I,m in Somerset and only get Welsh announcements . Drove up to Scotlalnd last month and got local updates all the way.
  4. TBH, I didn't notice any difference. Perhaps the one click app didn't work.
  5. I've used the one touch apps for some things, (Before I read about all the things that could go wrong). Changed comfort indicator from 3 to 5, throttle response, and something on the front lights. Had no problems at all. Won't use then now though. I used OBD11 to recode battery when changed to AGM. Straightforward job.
  6. I have the Pro plan and had no problems with coding the battery, so looks like you will need to upgrade to that. I got mine in July last year, cost £107 and still have 298 days left before renewal. I reckon it was worth it, I have done a few one click ops, found a problem with memory seats, so saved cost of dealer scan, and coded battery.
  7. I changed the long code to the date with leading zeros to fill it, ie today 2 Oct 23 would be0000021023. So then you have a record of when battery was replaced. Of course If the capacity is higher than original, change that also, and change type from EFB to Fleece which is the name Skoda uses for AGM
  8. Yes, I clicked on 15, got a box with 32771 and changed that to 14.
  9. I just changed value in box to 14. and started getting some traffic announcements, but not so comprehensive. Still find Waze better though.
  10. I got mine from Tayna batteries last december. Cost £121, may be a bit more now. Ordered in morning and received next day. Google Tayna to get website address.
  11. It's an easy 5 minute job on OBD11. If you fit a AGM, change type to fleece, and change capacity as it will probably be higher.
  12. I got a bit paranoid about the silicone bag and, because my expansion tank had the bag in an internal tube, I could not remove it. So I changed the tank for the latest revision which does not have a bag. Fine so far. But what I don't know is what is the coolant in the car. Is it g12 or g13. Various posts on here state it should be on the tank but I can't find it. If it is g12 can I top up with g13 and vice versa? 😧
  13. I got advisories for wall cracking on the rear tyres. OEM tyres Hankook Ventus Prime 2, fitted in 2018 and covered 30500mls. That seemed to be ok to me so have fitted again and 67 db noise. I do under 5k a year so will last me out (79 next month)
  14. I use Waze and have never seen the instructions on the dash as you describe. You can change what appears there using the green scroll button on rght side of steering wheel if that helps.
