Skoda Superb IV hybrid and subwoofer with amp

Featured Replies

Dear all,

I would like to get your advice/experience in relation to installing a subwoofer with amplifier in a 2023 Superb IV hybrid. I am changing over from a diesel Passat to the Superb and I would like to carry over my subwoofer I used in the old car. With the conventional passat with the 2litre diesel and its factory generator I had no concerns in relation to loading up an extra power amplifier (760Wmax/380Wcont) but as I do not have any experience with hybrid cars and their generators, I do not know if there are any perks or limitations I would need to be aware.

Additionally, I would like to find out if the head unit in the Superb (Amundsen) has a line out port? I used a high to line converter in the passat and tapped it into the speaker connector at the back of the head unit in the glove compartment but it would be better to use a line out if it exists.

thank you
