Hello to everyone.

So i have an old skoda fabia mk1 1.4 mpi and i love it.

Today i change the comfort module to have remote central locking with key fob and i have 2 problems.

First, when i locking the car from the drivers switches all dors locking but the drivers door locking and unlocking and stays unlocked.

Second, why on vcds flashing indicators when locking and unlocking are not available?Also horn when locking or unlocking is not available.

Im missing anything?I have vag kkl 409.1 .Could be this the problem?

ODB port not connecting to scanner

I have a 2010 Fabia 1.2 and the ODB port isn't playing ball. Tried 2 different scanners and they both fail to auth with the ECU. I initially thought it might be a bad fuse so I replaced num 22, didnt change a thing. Slipped the port out of the dash and made sure that the wires are fully seated in the connector, no change. I've tried with electrics on and also engine on, doesn't make a difference. Does anybody have any suggestions on what to look for next?

Hi All, I want get any advice when it comes to using the obd11 or other such scanners on the facelift mk4, especially stuff like changing the settings for auto stop start and lane departure. Can you unlock the sfd2 with this device? There website is very confusing as to whether it will work. Cheers

Hi, My tensioner failed at low revs and speed, the car juddered and stalled. It restarted and I drove home about a mile steadily. It seemed to drive normally if a little noisy. Next day it would start but not run. The check engine light was on. Pretty sure the Timing jumped a tooth. Q. do the valves always hit the pistons? do the valves always bend? Might I get away with an new tensioner and re-time? TIA
