Best Wipers

Featured Replies

An odd topic i guess, i have some Bosch wipers at the front which were fitted when i had a new screen put in due to a crack..... they are rubbish, can anyone give a link to wipers that are meant for a 2010 Fabia, front and rear.

Thanks

What makes you say they are rubbish? I have used Bosch wipers for years never really had any problems with them

I would be inclined to suspect something on the new glass that has transferred to the blades. Cleaning both with a good  cleaner may well help. I would use Autoglym Glass Cleaner on the screen and a good liquid cleaner or even methylated spirit in the rubber.

I too use Bosch blades and have never had any bother with them.

Try using some precipitated chalk on the windscreen.

I will give that a go, they are leaving lines on the screen when they sweep away the water, i have checked them already and there is nothing on them.

It could just be silicone or a grease of some sort. Wash the rubbers with some solvent. I cleaned my rear blade with Rubbing Alcohol today and it worked a treat.
