Required Help and Info regarding airbag light on dashboard

Featured Replies

Hi there

I have a skoda Octavia 1.5 TSI which was involved in a crash front end. I have repaired it all. I am only facing an issue with the airbag light as I had to change all the airbags( passenger, driver and knee) belts were not blocked.

What could be possible solution as I have not changed the airbag module. On the snapon Diagnostics the error code I am getting is (B189CF0 Crash Shut off- Active).

Please any suggestions as I need this to be resolved in March for personal reasons.

Much appreciated 🙏

Can't see why; airbags normally only activate if the relevant seat(s) are occupied. Having said that, the airbag light is a latching warning light, and needs specialist software and/or a new module to deactivate anyway.
