Fabia 2023 1.0 TSI 95 v 110

Featured Replies

Hi All

Not sure weather to go for a 2023 1.0 TSI 95 or 110 engine

I drove 110 version today and was plenty powerful , trying a 95 version tomorrow

Any one have any recommendations / experience , much appreciated

Regards Steve

Took out a 95 bhp comfort se model today , much preferred the 110 engine

One thing I did notice was the comfort SE model ( same level as my current citigo SE) the seat cover quality seemed not as good quality on the Fabia than my 2019 citigo SE , guess its just cost cutting these days

Cheers Steve

@steveeegWhat where the Skoda sales staff like,

helpful, ready to do some good deal to get a sale, maybe have you look at the Kamiq or could not care less?

Dealer was not that interest in getting a sale , to be fair I said that I had other cars to test drive , did not give me a p/x figure for my citigo

He said that all the deals were changing 1st April but did not know what changes are , think current offer is £500 off PCP which ain't amazing

To be honest my citigo felt nice to drive on way home , just wish it was a big bigger at times

My test drive on higher specs might have spoiled me , especially with the 110 engine

We have a 1.0 tsi 110 SEL dsg fabia 2022. Good engine , good around town and motorway . Good run 55 mpg

I changed from a 95 Kamiq to new 110 Fabia in January and in all honesty, I've found the difference in power around town and on open roads to be negligible. In fact, the only time it was noticeable was when I had four passengers and their luggage and I was heading up a slip road to join a motorway, I remember thinking that the Kamiq definitely wouldn't have been so sprightly.  But that's about it.

I ended up with a TSI 95 Fabia colour and is plenty quick enough, really pleased with how car drives
