Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 - 17" first impressions

The tyres seem to drive nicely. They are noticeably quieter than the Turanza 001 tyres that came off on quiet road surfaces, though on noisy road surfaces, they're still noisy.

I can't say they've transformed the steering response, but they certainly don't seem any worse than the Turanzas. (I inflate to the eco setting of 2.6 bar front and rear.)

Pushing it a bit round quiet roundabouts, they seem grippy, but I haven't tried them in the wet yet as it hasn't rained. I suspect they won't be amazing, as there doesn't seem to be much sideways exit route in the tread pattern for water, but we'll see.

They have quite a protective shoulder on them, so will offer decent protection against gentle kerbing.
