O2 vRS - Xenon Headlights from LHD to RHD Any adjustments ?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I got a set of xenon lights from UK, generally in a much better condition then my current ones. My car is RHD.

Got them with the idea to replace the right one, as it got damage on the plastic where a locking nut is fixing it.

I have installed the right one, consider installing a left one , but lenses looks like a different direction.

Know there is a way to change mechanically on reflectors, but can't find anything for xenon and this one prevents to me to install the left (from LHD one) headlight as well.

Found some info it shall be done through coding into the module, but my module is already for RHD.

Recently replaced the xenon lever with a VEMO one, as the joint ball of the old one got rust and was partially moving.

Perhaps somebody have more info to share if there is a procedure, hidden lever or something else to adjust lens direction?

Anyway with ideas ?

At least on the FL MK2, LHD and RHD xenon's have different shields to create the cut off pattern, it's not possible to change this without taking the headlight apart to replace it....

It's a clear the pattern ___/ can't be achieved without changing the shield inside, but at least to get it straight ____

Right now the right headlight is UK one and lens points a lot on the left side.

The shield is fixed - it cannot create a straight cut-off pattern.

The halogen version has a moveable shield to flatten the cut off but this does not exist on the xenon version.

You can see the fixed shield circled in red below.
