Featured Replies

Hi you guys.

have got a Roomster  . 2007

okay its a import  lefty.  took it for a mot today  failed due to no pattern  ??   its been  imported  two years ago and passed every time . is this a problem  with uk mot station  testing lights on ok equipment  and lights have had the tag  switched to eu settings or light units shot ?

What country was it imported from?

I think spain  but its been in uk for a couple of years now

It cannot have failed due to "no pattern" unless perhaps the lights remain on full beam.

What do you mean by "had the tag  switched to eu settings"

Is that perhaps a lever that changes the dipped beam pattern to a flat horizontal cut off?

If that is the case then as long as no light appears above the line on the testers equipment it should pass.

At the same MOT Station?

Did you get a fail certificate the first time? If so what did it say?
