hi again

i can't unlock the mk1 roomster using the key fob remote. i can open the drivers side door with the key, but then i need to immediately put the key in ignition, otherwise the alarm goes off. i then need to press the unlock door button inside.

i've tried changing the batteries, but its still not working.

any thoughts?

Have you a remote key that you could try?

 

I would start by checking for broken wires in the rubber concertina gaitor between the A pillar and the door.
