Battary replacement

Featured Replies

Hello Skodians, I intend to get my car battary replaced. I live in Finland and last winters, i sometimes used to get low battary warnings if car was stationed for few days or going for small journey to near by grocery stores. And i know its been more than 5 years since last change but does not know exactly when was it changed.

Additionally, i may want to install subwoofer in boot going forward someday.

Given these details and ambition, is there is recommendation about battery change. What is specifications to look while buying new one and shall i install higher capacity or something based on woofer ambitions.

Appreciate your help.

Fit a bigger case size (096) as the battery tray will take 3 different sizes & VAG usually fit the middle size to your engine....You will need to recode the BCM to tell the car the type of battery, the capacity & to alter the serial number coding lines. All info in the first post in this thread I made 8yrs ago....
