LED tail lights failed

Featured Replies

The dashboard helpfully tells me that the left-side taillights aren't working. I says that I should 'check the bulb'.

Sure enough, they're not working....but there's no 'bulb' since this lighting unit contains a strip of LED lights for the tail light (and brake light - which does work).

I've taken the unit off and can see where the indicator and reverse (old-skool) bulbs are replaced.

Is it possible to replace the LED lights or do I have to buy a new unit? It looks like a sealed unit to me - no obvious way in - so I suspect/fear that a new unit might be the only option here 😕

Any advice/experience gratefully received.

Thanks...
