I remember checking the tick box in the Navigation settings when I first got my Scala to turn this on. Now it is becoming irritating as I cannot turn it off and the option has disappeared from the settings. I don't need guidance most of the time and switch off the main Infortainment screen but this keeps coming back.

 

Any ideas as to how to restore the on/off check box in settings ( behind the 3 dot icon iin the bottom right corner of the map screen)?

 

The manual shows it but no explanation as to how or why it might disappear.

Hey, shame nobody has come back to you on this but I assume you have the SEL?

Good mornin, Will, never mind I have many more serious problems to worry about. I might just do a factory data reset and start again. Yes I do have the SEL.
