I am looking to buy an Octavia Scout (2017 - 2019), just wondered if the bodyshell and panels are galvanised.

I have a 2013 SEAT Exeo (Audi A4) which is completely galvanised, and still like new (have had it from new), so would like it if the Octavias were the same.

Yes.

Not enough to stop corrosion though.  As with most VW Group vehicles.

Many thanks for that information, Its encouraging to know it has been electroplating treated (not quite as good as hot dip galvanised - I wonder if that is what Audis use...)
