Superb 2 FL coolant leak and question about headlights?

Featured Replies

Hi there! I have two issues that im currently facing and maybe somebody can help me here a bit...

1. Coolant leak problem. So, i lifted car up with 4post, i had one hour of time and did not find leak nowhere. After some time, trying with running and with not running motor i have concluded that leak is from right side of the engine (when looking from in front of the car towards the car). Directly somewhere on top of the gearbox so everything goes directly down from gearbox and then spills there and here. Sometimes depending on weather, nothing happens. And in other hand, coolant will be out and about in 5 minutes with running engine. Maybe this is common problem or there are only "lets say 3 small parts" that can cause this? I have -10 outside and when i plan to take everything apart, i dont have place where to keep the car. So, my best solution would be that somebody has clear idea what im complaining here about, can tell what common issue there is with that engine and i can buy the parts and try to replace this as fast as possible  in front of my buddies garage :=)
Car is 1.6TDI 2014 77kw dsg sedan, driven around 335 000 kms.

2. Headlights are halogens and they are truly terrible and bad to drive. Las year i put there some leds and some china xenons, but eventually one light completelt went dead and one signal lamp was constantly lighted up. It resulted with damage to car ECU which i had to replace. So, they told me in dealership that skoda superb 2 has some kind of electronic issue that we can not use any aftermarket superbright xenons or similar. But, we live in 21st century, i refuse to believe that i have to drive in complete darkness. What are my options?

3. Dash cam - is there a possibility for me to connect it directly to some fusebox to get power when car is started and swich off when car is switched off? I want to get rid of all wires.

4. Rear right trunk light is only functionining when half open, which probably means that there is some broken wires somewhere ? Is this also known issue?

Thank you very much!
