As anyone fitted a strut brace?

Hi all.

Just after some advice please.

I've recently brought a strut brace but I am after some advice - especially when it comes to the existing top mount bolts....

In my head the factory/standard bolts are and will be to short to accommodate the extra thickness of the metal base.... is this true?

Do I need to buy some longer bolts? And if so where from? And what size? etc....

Or are the original bolts still OK to use.
