Škoda Auto has identified a potential issue with Octavia and Superb vehicles within a limited production period, where there is a possibility that a heat protection mat was incorrectly fitted.

Incorrectly fitted heat protection mats may expose a coupling connector on the brake fluid reservoir which could melt and cause a brake fluid leak into the engine compartment. For safety reasons, a check of your vehicle is necessary.

To make an appointment, please visit skoda.co.nz/recalls or contact your local authorised Škoda dealership at your earliest convenience. The recall work will take around an hour and is of course performed free of charge.

Typical! I did search but didn't pick that up as it was under DSG. 

Just to close this - everything was in order on my car, no problem at all.
