Webasto not working (doesn't start) Octavia Combi Ambition 2016

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I have a question, my webasto stopped working. If I use the remote it first lights up an orange light (low battery) and then fast green blinking light. If I press the webasto button in the car on the dashboard it lights up orange for a couple of seconds and then it turns off and nothing happens. Any suggestions what it could be? I live in Norway so I would love if it would be possible to fix this by myself instead of spending a fortune in a shop.

Thanks!

We might have to wait until somebody who has the Wabasto in their Octy - comes along.  Its not a very common option here in the UK unless you have a camper van or something similar.

Have you tried speaking with them?

Youll need to plug it in to start with and check for fault codes.

There are quite a few operating conditions that need to be met before it will activate.

Conditions for starting the auxiliary/auxiliary heater
Engine type corresponds to heater type (diesel/petrol)
The auxiliary/auxiliary heater is encoded in the data bus diagnostic interface
  No undervoltage shutdown
  No collision shutdown occurred
  Fuel reserve is not used
There are no entries in the event recorder that would prevent the launch

The one you wont be able to check without diagnostics is fault codes.

Hi guys,

thanks for these tips, I got myself a diagnosis tool and these are the fault codes I get. Any ideas how to fix this?
