Steering wheel swap

Featured Replies

Hello all!

I have a 2013 Skoda Superb mkII, which is the one immediatelly before the facelift version of the mkII. The steering wheel is starting to show some signs of wear so, thinking of replacing it, I found a very good deal for a steering wheel of the same model but from the facelift version.

At the beggining I thought it would be fine to just swap, but I realized the steering wheel from the facelift has some new buttons or functions.

My question is, do you know if swapping my pre-facelift steering wheel for a facelift one will result in a steering wheel with a bunch of non usable buttons?

The attached images show the difference between steering wheels.

I’m hoping someone replies as I’m looking at doing the same myself
