I recently removed the glvoebox and informative system to resolve an annoying rattling. 

 

Now I've put it all back together I have an airbag error, all can think is it's something to do with unplugging the on/off passenger airbag switch. 

 

Any suggestions to resolve this?

You need VCDS etc to clear the light. 
 

It came on due to you turning the ignition on with the plug disconnected 

Thought it must be something like that. 

 

Is there an affordable way to do that yourself or will I need a garage to do it?
