Door mirror glass replacement

Featured Replies

Hi all

Thanks to someone stealing my mirror glass I need to replace it.  Unfortunately they decided to cut the cable rather than remove the clips so I've now got to figure out a way to extend the cables onto a replacement glass.  Slight problem I have is every single reference I find online refers to there being two cables but my 2021 IV has four cables hanging out of the mirror so I'm flummoxed as to how to connect these cables to a new piece of glass.  Does anyone know what the extra two cables are for and where I'm supposed to connect them?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Andy

I hope this is helpful.

It's just a thought but if you can see the cable colours, drop the guys at Eastyorkshireretrofits a line as they do various retrofits related to mirrors, folding, blind spot etc.

I think they would know where things go and they are active on here too. Worth a try.
