I’ve been told it’s a straight swap but anyone know if I can put mk7 golf got front seats in my 2007 Octavia VRs? 
 

 Also heard the electrics need to be spliced in which is fine if the seats can just bolt in. 
 

 I’ve searched high and low and couldn’t get a definitive answer so any help is appreciated, thanks. 

Fitted them no problem. Only the heated seats missing but who cares, I live in Sydney. 
 

 Electrics were all a straight swap. The amount of researching I wasted my time on when I could have just looked at the connectors 🤦🏼‍♂️
