Hi all,

 

Had the joyous glow plugs flashing lights and engine light come on last week after car died on me. After restart seemed find but 5 minutes later same happened, plugged into my home scanner and got these two codes:

 

P048600 EGR sensor B circuit

P048600 EGR Sensor A circuit low

 

I have had a look at the wiring looks fine with no obvious corrosion to connectors. Struggling to find much online as it either people tearing down to investigate or dealer advise to change the whole EGR unit (though I understand there are 2 of these on the these models).
