ESP on Elegance models?

Featured Replies

I have been told, by my local Skoda dealer, that ESP is only standard on V engine models and that I will have to pay for it as an optional extra on a Superb 1.9TD Elegance Tiptronic. However, when I phoned Skoda UK customer service they told me that ESP is standard on ALL Elegance models (not just V engines).

Can anyone confirm which is true?

Cheers

According to the Superb brochure I have (issued by Skoda on 1st April 2005) "Esp -standard on all V6 engines. Optional on Classic, Comfort and Elegance."

Hope that might help

Ditto, for my brochure (23-March-06): Std on 2.8 V6 30v and 2.5 V6 TDI only.

It was also available as standard on Edition 100's. Mine's a PD130 and I have ESP. Must admit I was quite keen to have ESP after seeing What Car's tests on it.

I have ESP and ASR on my Comfort model?!?!?!?LOL!!!!

I have ESP, but not sure if the previous owner specified it as an option
