DRL / fog light moisture

Featured Replies

Hi. I've had this ever since new and Skoda said it's not a warranty item. It's a 2019 VRS 245 black

I've read here about removing it and trying to drain all water inside then drying out with heat but I can't work out how to remove. Does anyone how it comes out? Thanks.

I fixed this today. The light comes off from behind the bumper skin. It's actually pretty easy to do. You just need a T25 screwdriver.

Raise the front end. Take the wheel arch liner off and you can easily access the 4 screws from behind. You'll need to unclip the headlight washer jet water feed and it'll pour washer water all over you.

Mine had loads of water in and apparently a missing breathable seal near the top. I just kept on moving it around to get the water to run out of the hole for ages. It shouldn't need to get bone dry and I've parked it in the sun to dry the rest out.
