No power to dashboard/ ignition

Right... my 2016 Superb 2.0 diesel 150 DSG has electrical issues.

Whilst driving the dashboard lights up like a Christmas tree... every warning light possible... then totally dies... no speedo/rev counter/ central display screen... indicators don't work... but car keeps running... if I turn it off it won't start... RAC guy fiddled with fuse box behind glove box & all came back to life... a week later the car died again... doors don't unlock but boot & fuel flap do... won't start... battery is good... some things work some don't... interior lights, electric seats, radio & horn work... any ideas?
