Random key fob issue

Featured Replies

I have two key fobs, both with new batteries.  The car employs KESSY. One of the fobs functions perfectly.  The other is fine as well except that it fails to unlock the rear passenger doors, despite trying different batteries.  Is this a known problem?

My guess is the car has two keys linked to it and they work / are programmed differently.

Try setting each key in turn to unlock what you want via the infotainment system.

Thanks. AG Falco

Thank you.  I will check out your suggestion.  I had not considered that the key might be programmed differently.
