Satnav thinks it's in Germany

Featured Replies

Apologies if this has been posted before.

I have a 2014 Yeti Outdoor Business and the satnav has recently decided it's in Germany. I've read a number of posts suggesting the aerial is the most likely culprit and I've searched online for a replacement. However there seem to be quite a few options such as AM/FM, DAB, GPS, with phone - and I have all of those requirements!

Can anyone provide a part number for the item I need?

Thanks in advance.

I don't have direct Yeti experience (mine have all been Octavias) but all the aerials for a 2014 European build Yeti are listed on the parts catalogue HERE, so hopefully you can identify your particular item.  Once you have a part number I'd take a look at skoda-parts.com in Czech.  You would have to pay carriage but I suspect their prices are somewhat cheaper than those listed in the UK (how does 150+ squid grab you?).

Others have just bought a generic satnav receiver and stuck it under the dashtop box.
