Superb IV (2019) primary user fuse query

Hi all,

I'm having a nightmare trying to get the car to allow me to be primary user and verify car in the app. 

I have read after googling for hours on end about the possibility of removing fuse 19 from the car resetting things and maybe having an effect. 

However, everything I've read about this was for non-phev Skodas. Would removing fuse 19 have the desired effect on the IV? My manual states this fuse is for the KESSY system (which my car doesn't have anyway).
