steering feeling changed after software update 2024 superb

Featured Replies

hello guys. i have been just to service to repair my all sensors (driving assists) malfunctioning issue . they told me there is new version of software for fixing these issues and many minor bugs. anyway they have done it in 3-4 hrs. after i got my car i feel like steering is too lightweight no feelings at all. it changed significantly in bad way. i mean car is now like going on clouds or floating but wheels are not touching ground . i suspect over air pressure usually they do it in service i went to check and it was so good 2.3bar nothing wrong. so my car has no features like driving modes sport, normal eco etc.. its basic package in my country doesnt conaints only upper package anyway. car is 2024 July new model superb 1.5TSI phev. anyone having same issue after the update? IMG_5501.HEICIMG_5501.HEIC

I can second this one, exactly same thing happened to me as you described. To be honest I liked the new feel of the steering, for me it was a bit stiff before. Still it's weird this can happen without any kind of notification.

If possible, go to dealer and as a customer tryout a Superb with DCC (try eco/normal/sport drive mode setting) as it has also progressive steering and compare if possible to barebones model and to yours. This could result in some feedback regarding the new feel.
